we've been trying to break into vc - and we want to make it easier for you!
we met back in autumn 2024, and all of us were on a mission to find roles in venture. we found there was little structure to help us do that, and so we're trying to build the system we wished we had.
we'll be with you every step of the way, even after you break in!
where will you start?
we're using a belt system to make things easier
the beginners - white belts
when you start, you'll join as a white belt. by getting involved in projects in the general ecosystem (not just tiny ventures), you'll move up in no time!
you've got involved in the ecosystem and shown you're serious about this. now join a team, contribute, and if you're good, move up!
the novices - yellow belts
now that you've shown your skills, you will have access to the real opportunities. you can be recommended for roles, join the scouting team, and start making rapid progress toward your 1st vc intern role
the intermediates - green belts
finally, you've got a visiting analyst role (or equivalent), and you are ready to jump for the full-time role!
